Pilates is Magic!Pilates is magic! At least we think so. Pilates is a form of exercise designed to build flexibility, strength and endurance by focusing on correct spinal alignment.

The body awareness developed though Pilates can help with everything from competing in a triathlon to working in your garden.

Joseph Pilates believed that physical and mental health are interrelated, so he developed a series of exercises intended to strengthen both body and mind. As he was caring for bed ridden soldiers, he invented apparatus to attach to hospital beds which have since evolved into the modern day Pilates equipment such as the reformer and trapeze table or cadillac. To achieve this mind body connection, Pilates used the principles of concentration, control, center, flow, precision, and breathing.

Pilates teaches you to be in control of your body and not at its mercy. This control allows you to be your best at whatever you choose.
